Facebook Social Network

The big daddy of the social networks. I joined in 2008 because my son wanted to join, so I was there to keep him from on-line harm. Now that I am no longer involved in any of his school activities, I use it to keep in touch with distant family members, a few friends and to play my wife in Farmville 2.

Amarillo Texas Movie Times

Occasionally get away from reality and go to a movie. My favourite movie series will always be the Bourne Series.

Where do I stand? - Well, I was born and raised in the Presbyterian Church and I am an ordained Elder in the Presbyterian Church, USA. (PCUSA) However, I feel that the PCUSA has abandoned several of the basic Christian beliefs in order to be "politically correct." So, If I must be classified as to my religious beliefs, then I would say, I am a Christian.

Our Daily Bread

From the ODB website, "Throughout the day, in countless locations and in dozens of countries around the world, Our Daily Bread is read by millions of people. And for every person who opens its pages, one thing is always true: It points to the joy of a relationship with Jesus Christ and the timeless wisdom found in God’s holy Word. Our Daily Bread is published and distributed worldwide in more than 55 languages by affiliated ministries around the globe. RBC Ministries also produces a variety of other Bible resources, which are available for the asking. RBC Ministries is not funded or endowed by any group or denomination. Many people, making even the smallest of donations, enable RBC Ministries to reach others with the life-changing wisdom of the Bible."

Who is eaglereeves?

Reeves Easley-McPherson

A generally happy person who struggles to overcome Cerebral Palsy each day (betcha most of my friends didn't know that) and a very difficult and violent childhood. God has blessed me with a soul-mate for a wife who understands me and cares for me. I grew up in a single-parent household and now I have become a care-giver for my mother. I am an advocate for a childhood free of violence and filled with compassionate and caring adults and a safe learning environment.

I am really into music. (Jewish Reggae to Tuvan Throat Singing to Classical to Marching Band to Bluegrass to Rock to Pop) I always wanted to be in the band, but because of my disability, I was in the school choir. I tried acting in the 1982 production of "Fiddler on the Roof" at the Amarillo Little Theater, and I am often found driving down the highway singing along with Les Miserables in Concert the 25th Anniversary Edition at the O2.

I earned the rank of Eagle Scout in the Boy Scouts of America in 1981 and I am a Life Member of the National Eagle Scout Association. I am married to a brilliant History Graduate Student, and I'm a dad. (recently downsized though... I miss the dad job.)

I enjoy social networking as a way to learn more about people and to stay connected, and I've tried them all...Orkut to Facebook to Twitter to Google+. I also enjoy photography and reading. I am a life-long learner and If you can make me laugh and my heart smile you will have a loyal friend for life.

For a living, I work for an awesome contractor to the Department of Energy :PANTEX in the emergency management field. I have always understood "things" better than people, so I guess I'm pretty good at it.
